The mela Saralamma Jatara is celebrated in honor of two female tribal heroines – Samakka and Saralamma. It is a great center of faith for the Koya tribal community not only in Telangana but also in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.”
Likewise, many fairs like Tarnetar and Madhopur are very famous in Gujarat, he added.
according to the Prime Minister, “Our young people must join them and whenever you go to such fairs, also share the photos on social networks. They can also use a specific hashtag. Thanks to this, other people will also know these fairs. They can also upload photos on the website of the Ministry of Culture.
“In the next few days, the Ministry of Culture will launch a competition, in which those who send the best photos from the fairs, will also be rewarded. So don’t delay, visit the fairs, share their photos, and maybe you also be rewarded,” he added.
