Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya works for valuable cultural traditions. Today, the 57 IIFM (PGDFM) students of the course on “Society & Polity” visited IGRMS, they were led by Ujjal Kumar Sharma and Ashish David.
During the visit to the museum, all the students were divided into 11 groups and studied in detail the different tribal habitats. At the beginning of the program, P Sankar Rao briefly presents the exhibitions of this museum. Later, they saw a documentary film about the IGRMS and were taken to various outdoor and indoor museum exhibits, where they were guided by the senior museum officer.
On this occasion, IGRMS Director PK Mishra addressing these students said that – You will all get a lot of valuable information through the exhibits. Spread over an area of 200 acres, the physical space of this museum was converted into a cultural space by the directors, curators, technical officers and all the museum people working here 45 years ago.
Today, in the 21st century, the museum has become a center of information. The visit of the museum allows to know more about the culture.
